TIPS AND RECIPES WITH BAOBAB OIL
a) Beauty tips with Baobab oil
Detangling and softening hair mask with Baobab oil
1. Ingredients
- 10 ml of Baobab oil
- 10 ml of Coconut oil
- 45 g of Shea butter
- 01 lime
- 10 drops of vitamin E
2. Instructions for use
In a bowl, mix the Shea butter, Baobab oil and Coconut oil. Then, add your lime and vitamin E. Mix until you get a smooth and creamy mask. Store in a jar and protect from light, heat and air.
3. How to apply
Apply a generous amount of the mask to your hair. Spread it by massaging your hair and leave it on for about 30 minutes, covering your head with a warm towel. Rinse thoroughly and shampoo as usual.
How to make a Face mask with Baobab oil
1. Ingredients
- 60 ml of Baobab oil
- 30 ml of grape seed oil
- 10 drops of lavender essential oil
- 5 drops of tea tree essential oil
2. Instructions for use
In a bottle, first mix the Baobab oil and the grape seed oil and shake well. Then, add the lavender essential oil and the tea tree essential oil and mix well. And that's it! Your natural face care recipe is now ready!
*You can apply this recipe sparingly in the morning and/or evening, a few drops are enough to be effective. Ideal for the face, but also for the body.
b) Recipes with Baobab oil
Vegetable omelet with Baobab oil
1. Ingredients
- Baobab oil for cooking
- 500 g peeled potatoes
- 500 g of prepared leeks
- One tablespoon of cornstarch (Maïzena)
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg (as you like)
2. Instructions for use
Cut the leeks into thin slices and grate the potatoes. Mix the leeks, potatoes and add the cornstarch. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Stir all these ingredients well.
Then, pour some Baobab oil in a frying pan and put half of the preparation in a patty form to cook on medium-high heat. Keep an eye on the cooking process by lifting the edges from time to time. Using a plate, turn the vegetable omelet over to cook on the other side. And cook the rest of the mixture in the same way. Your veggie omelet is finally ready, enjoy!
*You can add a little Baobab oil, if necessary, at the time or a fricassee of mushrooms, or a pan of onion and garlic when the omelet is cooked.
